A seasoned campaign veteran, former Democratic National Committee Deputy Political Director, Tony Anthony has a proven record of accomplishment as a Democratic strategist.  His successes in races on all levels across the nation and his experience in policy areas have made him a valuable asset to progressive causes. Tony served as the Iowa Deputy Caucus, Missouri State Director, New York State Field Director, and DC State Director for Bernie 2016. In 2020, Tony served as Bernie Sanders’ Iowa Deputy Caucus, Missouri State Director, Florida State Director, and New York State Distributed Field Director.

Tony holds a Master’s degree in Political Management from the Graduate School of Political Management at George Washington University. He also holds Bachelor’s degrees in Political Science and Portuguese.

Tony has over ten years domestic and international campaign and organizational experience. Tony has served as a senior level consultant of several statewide campaigns in Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Missouri, Louisiana, Mississippi, Texas, Maryland, Georgia, and New Jersey as well as to Trinidad & Tobago’s Opposition Leader Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

Pete D’Alessandro is a longtime activist and political advisor for local, state, and national campaigns. In 2020, Pete served as a Senior Advisor to Senator Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign. Four years prior, he was Senator Sanders’ Iowa Campaign Coordinator and later helped secure upset victories as the lead staffer in Oklahoma and Indiana.

Pete has served a wide range of candidates including Iowa Governor Chet Culver, former U.S. Senator Bill Bradley, the late U.S. Senator Paul Wellstone, Former Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn, and Iowa Congressman Leonard Boswell. Throughout his career, he has been a leading advocate for Medicare for All, strong public schools, and expanding economic opportunities for working families. Today, he resides in Des Moines.

In 2020, Lisa served as the Iowa Advance Director on the Bernie 2020 campaign, overseeing over 120 events organized for Sen. Sanders and surrogates leading up to the Iowa caucus. In addition to political events, Lisa has also served as Elections Director for the Vermont Progressive Party, the only third party in the country that has elected dozens of Progressive candidates to state and local offices. She has helped candidates with campaign strategy, voter contact, media relations, operations, and more. She resides in Burlington, Vermont.

Josh Visnaw is an advocacy, policy, and political strategist who has worked in several roles in campaigns, community engagement, and international development. Josh has experience across 11 states, including recent stints as GOTV staff for the Wisconsin Democratic Party in 2020, State Director in Oklahoma and Louisiana for Bernie 2020, Deputy Field Director for the Michigan Democratic Party 2018 Coordinated Campaign, and various organizing roles in 5 states for Bernie 2016.

 His international experiences include managing development projects in Belize, serving as Fulbright Public Policy Fellow in Timor-Leste, and consulting for the Food and Agriculture Organisation of the United Nations. Chris Witschy spent two and a half years as Senator Bernie Sanders' Senior Field Producer, touring roughly forty states with Sanders as a member of the senator's travel party. Chris oversaw the on-site operations for the first successful in-house livestream network in U.S. presidential campaign history. He produced hundreds of campaign livestreams and cable news appearances during his time with the Bernie 2020 presidential campaign and, subsequently, with the Friends of Bernie Sanders congressional campaign. Chris also shot, directed, and edited roughly a hundred videos for the Senator's social media platforms.

Before joining Bernie 2020, Chris lived and worked in India for three and a half years, running his own production house that specialized in creating outreach and fundraising content for social enterprise start ups, small businesses, and international organizations operating in South Asia. He also served as a media fellow with the American India Foundation and a producer with INKtalks in Bangalore, documenting development and tech literacy programs across nineteen states in India. After one helluva walkabout, he now resides in Chicago.
