Dr. Megan Srinivas

Dr. Megan Srinivas won a hotly contested Democratic primary for Iowa State House against a well-financed opponent who was a well-known member of an Iowa political dynasty. Dr. Srinivas won the primary with 65% of the vote and carried the general election that November, making her the youngest woman of color elected to the Iowa legislature.
